Artist statement: I am not sure where the inspiration for much of my work comes from other than giving the viewer another reason to look at some of the things I find common, yet fascinating in the world around us.
My career and passion has been in the teaching of art to thousands of middle school students. In 26 years of teaching I have found drawing to be an outlet for the humor and creativity I witness each day in my classroom.
While I continue to be amazed at what can be accomplished using color pencils I also enjoy expressions in charcoal and graphite.
