Artist bio: Texas based artist Sonia Semone holds a BFA in studio art, and MA from the UTT. Her paintings have been collected around the world. Recently she won a purchase award for her works to be hung in every room of the New NYLO hotel in Las Colinas Dallas. Sonia shows her work throughout the year in Solo shows around the United States.
Artist statement: As a contemporary abstract painter I blend the use of color with the essential elements of design to create each piece. Throughout the painting process each work reveals itself, taking on a life of its own. To lock in color and keep vibrancy I use a super wet gloss finish on each piece.
