Artist bio: King Vincent Oberlin is 31 years of age. Currently resides in Angola Indiana. Being creative started at an early age for King. Started to create his own style of painting and drawing in his teens. King has studied Fine Arts and Art Education at the University of Saint Francis, and Goshen College. Today he paints with a love to improve so that with each piece of art it catches ones eye.
Artist statement: Art is in everything, anyone can be a true artist in what ever they choose to do, while walking this earth. This is done by having a true love and dedicateing their self with passion.

Some call it the “King Wing” I believe symbols are more recognizable in peoples minds, so once seen it is easier to make the connection again. I love to run; this symbol became part of my body once it was tattooed onto my back. Over the years I have sketched and re-sketched these wings and they started to become something more than just a symbol or running, it became a symbol of life and freedom. I love the word “Fly” – every time one of these wings is put up, the viewer is being told to “Fly”!
