Artist bio: Circus Resident and Performance Artist, she has been involved with the local art scene for over 15 years, bringing her unique performance style and circus arts to many venues and galleries.
Trained as a gymnyst, dancer, and in the circus arts, Cassie has brought her creative and innovative ideas all over the world, performing at festivals, museums and theatres.
Representing Grand Rapids, on America's Got Talent, at Rothbury Music Festival, Founder of The Dare Devil Circus Company, Company member of Kalamazoo's Aerial Angels, Circus Coach at For The Kidz Gym in Wyoming,MI
Her resume is endless and her contribution to the growth and success of the performance art scene has been imperative.

Artist statement: My passion and love is performance art, Through blood sweat and tears, I have brought many of my dreams to life,
I want to share what I have found and give the gift to others of this beautiful world.
Art Prize will give me that ability to start A Circus School in Grand Rapids, to give the same joy and laughter to kids and adults alike.
To be involved in something that will stretch the imagination, to bring dreams to reality, to push the body and the mind,
I want to give my gift to the world, and make its home in Grand Rapids.

Description of work: A dream that becomes reality, A world that opens all possibilities. A place for children and adults alike to escape the everyday trials and tribulations.
Imagine stepping into a surreal world, with trees that come to life, animals that talk, circus performers dancing in the air and tumbling at your feet, music and costumes take you somewhere new.
This interactive show brings a whole new world right in front of your eyes.
The story is told through, Dance, Circus Arts, Music, Clowns, Roaming characters, Stilt Walkers, jugglers and even more.
Let yourself go, and dive into live circus performance art.

Work statement: The mission is to ignite imagination, build community, and promote social justice through performances and hands on experiences in the arts of circus.
With beauty, and elegance, this Cirque Du Soliel style performance is from Grand Rapids with hope to help enrich our community.
A collaberation of circus artists, children and adults. Artists that possess a passion to entertain and have a love for being on a stage.
The Art Prize will help allow Grand Rapids to have its own Circus School, with its doors open to anyone that has ever had an interest in Circus, or just wants somewhere to let loose and have fun.

We will have scheduled performances times listed closer to the event, video and photographic visuals provided when not having a live performance.

Look for roaming characters,hula hoopers, contortionists, dancers and acrobats hanging out at the BOB! Outside performances daily on our 25ft HIGH aerial rig and an indoor video installation and photographs set up inside the BOB!
