Artist bio: Andrew is a local resident of Jenison, MI. His passion lies within Michigan and film, both in which he hopes to raise the profile for. In the past he has worked on several student led projects such as the Grand Valley State University’s 2008 Summer Film and writer/director Steve Burns’ “Professor Paul Summers and the Killer Zombie". His aim is for people to view film the way he does, with never ending possibilities.

Description of work: A 3-dimensional exhibit displaying the theater of the mind in which a mannequin has a television for a head that plays a film reel and is reflected off a mirror that sits across from him replacing a television screen.

Work statement: The idea is that film comes not from the television we view, but from the visions in our heads. What we view is a reflection of what is in our minds.
