Artist statement: MY WAYS
To subjugate the matter, the fullness and the emptiness; making rough smooth, smooth shiny, shiny gracious and rough and empty and full and sad and happy and all over again and then, melt them, carve them, kiss them, pound them and finally loved-hated it.
My creation, a vivid piece of existence, its beauty, its passion, its thirst and hunger it is my way of saying or writing a poem, my continue battles, my torment and my biggest satisfaction.
My sculptures evolve as I work within my mind’s eyes. My designs, even though inspired on a human figure, exceed the simple search of anatomical perfection and move beyond the academic to become stylized, suggestive, abstract or just an expression of movement.
About the work:
Title: "Givingtaker"

Art form: 3-D

Medium: Metal

Year created: Work not created yet

Description of work: "Givingtaker" is a sculpture intended for outdoor placement. It is about 21 feet tall and 7 feet width, and an approximate weight of 2 thousand pounds. It is made out of forge sheet metal and reinforced with an inside steel structure.
The intrinsic concept of this artwork is a call to the Humanity, an Earth awareness to save our beautiful planet. Our Mother earth has provided us with all the resources that we need since the Creation but we have abused, destroyed and exploited most of these resources.
This artwork represents my hope that we all notice the beginning of the End.
This sculpture is in progress but I have a presentation and video available for venue review. Showing some of my past artworks.

Work statement: "Givingtaker"is merely a sentence, a gesture, a little voice screaming loud. It is one word of a conversation spanning millions of years. It is a reminder of balance. She is Mother Nature. In this sculpture she plays a gracious female figure. She is absolute power, she does not pretend, she is pure life. Her cyclical eternal dance reflects our modern situation and her dance is now prelude to the end. The equilibrium has been threatened. A painful effort to remain in balance forces her hips to creak and groan. Evidence of discomfort and stress appear when a lateral inclination arrives and leaves her bias to fold. Her body twists in a majestic expression. Her harmonious curves captivate and her voluptuously contorted members successfully communicate imminent danger. She will survive regardless. In contrast our precious and fragile existence will disappear. Her dance and contortion are constant reminders:If we keep taking what we do not need, what we do need will be taken.
